Training for the Icarus Trophy
There are probably a couple of things to figure out before you take on the world's toughest paramotor adventure race, most importantly how to actually fly these things. After that, it’s pretty much plain sailing and figuring out how to get all the kit you’ll need to weigh less than a slice of toast.
To take part in the Icarus Trophy you'll need a sense of adventure (and a sense of humour!) and of course be able to demonstrate your proficiency as a safe and competent paramotor pilot.
All pilots will be asked to perform a competence flight prior to race launch, which varies for Adventure & Race class pilots. If our resident expert doesn't think you're up to scratch, you won't be flying!
